As many of you have already watched the Zaviya (Oct. 2008) program of Maulana Ali Murtaza Zaidi, most topics are thought provoking. Among which one topic is really burning these days, that is of Agha Khan Educational Board.

I do not understand why our Shi'i schools have switched to AKUEB? What was the need at the first place?

Why? Why AKUEB?

Karachi board was enough for us, there was no need of an agha khani board and specially for us. No way! we don't need agha khanis not even in the worst case scenario.

I have been abroad and I have had no problem with Karachi board's credibility outside Pakistan. It is enough for us. And other than that there is already Cambridge board in some schools. Why AKUEB?

What I've heard from Maulana Ali Murtaza is really shocking. I could never believe that our Shi'i schools would go that low just for the sake of affiliation with a irreligious community.

This video ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZXEmty1HprQ ) is a part/segment of whole Zaviya Program (Oct. '08) in which Maulana Ali Murtaza, speaks about AKUEB and complains from teachers in Al-Murtaza School about AKUEB Trainers saying - "Purdah/Hijab is innovation of Khulafas it is not in Islam, don't torture yourself by wearing scarf".

Please watch it and take some immediate action. I request everyone to directly talk to our school's administrations in order to disassociate our schools from agha khanis' corrupt and immoral infiltration.

Abu Huraira reported Allaah\'s Messenger (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) as saying to Hasan: O Allaah, behold, I love him. Thou too love him and love one who loves him.

Hadiths: 5952
Abu Huraira reported: I went along with Allalh\'s Messenger (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) at a time during the day but he did not talk to me and I did not talk to him until he reached Bazar of Banfi Qainuqal. He came back to the tent of Fatima and said: Is the little chap (meaning Hasan) there? We were under the impression that his mother had detained him in order to bathe him and dress him and garland him with a sweet garland. Not much time had passed that he (Hasan) came running until both of them embraced each other, thereupon Allaah\'s Messenger (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) said: O Allaah, I love him; love him Thou and love one who loves him (Hasan).

Hadiths: 5953
Al-Bara\' b. Azib reported: I saw Hasan b. \'Ali upon the shoulders of Allaah\'s Prophet (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) and he was saying: O Allaah, I love him, and love him Thou.

Hadiths: 5954
Iyas reported on the authority of his father: I (had the honour of) leading the white mule on which rode Allaah\'s Prophet (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) and with him were Hasan and Husain, till it reached the apartment of Allaah\'s Prophet (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam).

<![CDATA[Women's issues made Simple]]> http://www.almurtazaschool.com/forums/index.php?tid=27&tpg=1#p72 Allah (SWT) has created all women, but each individual woman is different. For example every woman has her own unique blood cycle. In Islamic law there are different rules for the kind of blood seen by a woman. There are specific rules for Haidh, Istihadha and Nifas. It can often be very confusing for a God wary woman to understand what state she is in and follow the necessary rulings according to Islamic Jurisprudence, so that she can seek closeness to Allah (SWT).

I am attaching the book in .pdf format for those who are interested to study further in about this.

<![CDATA[Need of Religion]]> http://www.almurtazaschool.com/forums/index.php?tid=26&tpg=1#p71 Mon, 13 Oct 2008 04:55:29 GMT http://www.almurtazaschool.com/forums/index.php?tid=26&tpg=1#p71 <![CDATA[Need of Religion]]> http://www.almurtazaschool.com/forums/index.php?tid=26&tpg=1#p70 WHAT IS THE NEED OF RELIGION?

There are many reasons why religion is needed for Mankind:-

(a) We know that man is a social animal. Every man depends upon millions of people
for his life and its necessities. Also we know that every society needs some laws to
prevent injustice and preserve the rights of every member of the society. But who is
the right authority to make the Law? One man (be he a monarch or a dictator)? No!
Because he, instinctively, will look, first of all, after his own interest. A group of
people (be it an aristocracy or democracy)? No! Because every one of them is
capable of wrong judgment; and a lot of wrong decisions do not add up to a right
decision.

(b) Also, it is apparent that no group of people disengage itself from self-interest. For
example, in colonial days the assemblies and councils of colonies were enacting
laws to suit the interest of the White rulers. Now, the same institutions (but with
different members) are making laws keeping in view the interest of the local
population. Selfinterest was, and still is, the key word of legislation in the
whole world.

(c) Moreover, no man or group of men is in a position to make a comprehensive law
based on perfect equity and justice.
So it is necessary that the laws should be made by some one who is superior to
man, who has nothing to lose or gain by that law and with WHOM every man has
equal relation. AND THAT ONE IS "ALLAH". Hence we need the religion

(d) Moreover, all the man-made laws and customs have a very serious defect: they
cannot stop crime. This defect makes their existence somewhat superfluous. A thief
enters an unoccupied house, in a remote village at dead of night for stealing some
valuables. He knows perfectly well that there is no representative of the government
for good many miles around the house. He feels perfectly safe from being detected.
Is there any law of government which can stop him from committing the crime? The
answer is, certainly, "NO".

No government can stop the said person from stealing, BUT RELIGION CAN.
Religion, true Religion as explained above, teaches that there is a God, Who knows
everything and sees everything; Who is Just and Virtuous Himself, and wants us to
be just and virtuous; that we are responsible for our deeds in His eyes, and we have
to give account of our deeds to Him after our death. If a person believes in it, then
(AND ONLY THEN) he can restrain himself from committing sins and crimes and
inflicting injustice upon other people.

Laws of government can control the external affairs of a man and even that only at
a time and place where its hands can reach. But the belief in God and religion
controls not only the external acts but hidden desires and inner thoughts also.
This control is not confined to any particular place or any limited time, because God
is Omnipresent and Omniscient

(e) To realize fully the unquestionable benefits which the society derives from the belief
in God and religion, try to think about the chaos and turmoil which the mankind will
certainly plunge into if the belief in God is put aside. There will not be any society.
Instead, there will be a multitude of people. In such atmosphere every individual is
at liberty to do whatever he wishes. He thinks there is no God and no life hereafter,
and he has come into being by the chance of a blind nature; and he also knows that
the span of life is very short. So he naturally will be overcome by the desire to enjoy
this life as much as possible without any regard to anything else. His only
consideration will be to avoid being caught red-handed or detected by the
government law. And whenever he will feel safe he will not stop at any crime to fulfil
his desire, how much henious that desire may appear to others.

Question: Even an atheist may lead a life which is morally as perfect as that of a follower
of religion. So what is the need of religion?

Answer: It is a fallacy, to think that the moral life of an atheist is without any obligation to
religion. Because those moral thoughts have been bestowed upon him by no other factor
but religion. Religious moral teachings have been ingrained in human mind for thousands
of years. They have been bestowed from father to son (heredity) and from friend to friend,
(environment). These moral values have become inseparable from his conscience. But
what is conscience? It is but the religious and moral thoughts which have come to him
from his religious forefathers, and now he cannot escape from them. Conscience is based
upon the moral teaching of religion. How can the conscience survive, when those
teachings of religion are routed out of the humanity as a whole?

Anybody who ponders deeply upon this point will come to the conclusion that no morality
can hold is ground, if separated from belief in God and religion.

<![CDATA[Yaum al-Quds]]> http://www.almurtazaschool.com/forums/index.php?tid=25&tpg=1#p68 International Al-Quds Days

International Day of Al-Quds (Rooz-e jahaany-e Qods in Persian: روز جهانی قدس), is an annual event opposing Israel's control of Jerusalem, (Al-Quds in Arabic: القـُدْس). Anti-Zionist demonstrations are held on this day in some Muslim and Arab countries and by Muslim and Arab communities around the world, but especially in Iran where the occasion was first suggested. It is held each year on the last Friday of Ramadan. Jerusalem Day is not an Islamic religious holiday but a political event open to both Muslims and non-Muslims alike, and thus observance is not obligatory in Islam.

The parade originated in Iran after the 1979 Islamic Revolution. The observance was suggested by Ayatollah Khomeini, then Supreme Leader of Iran, in August of that year, saying

Quote
“ I invite Muslims all over the globe to consecrate the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan as Jerusalem Day and to proclaim the international solidarity of Muslims in support of the legitimate rights of the Muslim people of Palestine. ”

Quote
“ For many years, I have been notifying the Muslims of the danger posed by the usurper Israel which today has intensified its savage attacks against the Palestinian brothers and sisters, and which, in the south of Lebanon in particular, is continually bombing Palestinian homes in the hope of crushing the Palestinian struggle. I ask all the Muslims of the world and the Muslim governments to join together to sever the hand of this usurper and its supporters. I call on all the Muslims of the world to select as Jerusalem Day the last Friday in the holy month of Ramadan - which is itself a determining period and can also be the determiner of the Palestinian people’s fate - and through a ceremony demonstrating the solidarity of Muslims world-wide, announce their support for the legitimate rights of the Muslim people. I ask God Almighty for the victory of the Muslims over the infidels."[1] ”

During recent years it has spread among Muslim and non-Muslim countries[2][3][4] [5] even the U.S.[6] Nowadays participation is not limited to Arabs or Muslims but some non-Muslims also participate in it including Anti-Zionist Orthodox Jews.[7]
